What exactly is a “scan”?
A scan is one 3D model you capture of a real dish or product. You create it on your iPhone, we process it into web- and AR-ready formats, and it becomes a shareable, viewable model. A scan only counts toward your monthly limit once it has successfully processed.
Do my guests or customers need to download an app?
No. They just tap your link or scan your QR code and the 3D model opens right in their browser, and in AR on most modern iPhones and Android phones. The LensArt app is only for you, to capture and manage your scans.
Do I need a special iPhone?
Yes. 3D capture uses the LiDAR sensor found on iPhone Pro models. If your device doesn't have LiDAR, the app will let you know. You can still view and share scans on any phone, tablet or computer.
Can people view my dishes and products on Android and the web?
Absolutely. Every scan is automatically converted to GLB alongside USDZ, so your models open beautifully on iOS, Android and the open web. No app required for viewers.
Are plans monthly? How do I pay and activate one?
All paid plans are billed monthly. There's no online checkout yet. Just message us on WhatsApp and we'll activate your package and walk you through payment. Basic is free forever.
Do failed scans use up my limit?
No. You only ever “spend” a scan when it successfully processes. Failed, paused or deleted scans don't count against your monthly quota.
Can I upgrade, downgrade or cancel later?
Yes. Start free, move to Pro when you're ready, and adjust any time. Reach out on WhatsApp and we'll sort it out for you.
