Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how LensArt (“LensArt,” “we,” “us” or “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects information when you use the LensArt mobile app and the lensart.appwebsite (together, the “Service”). LensArt lets business owners capture products in 3D, organize them into catalogs, and share them as web- and AR-viewable models by link or QR code.

Who this applies to

This policy applies to the account holders who create and manage 3D scans (typically business owners), and to visitors who view a shared model or catalog. Account holders sign in; visitors do not need an account or the app to view shared content.

Information we collect

Account information

When you create an account we collect your name, email address, username, and (optionally) phone number. Authentication is handled by our provider (Supabase); we do not store your password.

Business profile

If you set up a business profile, we collect the details you provide, such as business name, address, phone number, logo, brand colors, and social links. This information is used to brand the public pages where your models appear.

Content you create

We store the 3D scans and models you capture and upload, along with their names, descriptions, thumbnails, and the catalogs and folders you organize them into.

Usage & analytics

For models and catalogs you publish, we record aggregate engagement such as view counts, unique visitors, and the source of a visit (for example, whether it came from a QR code). To count unique visitors without identifying them, we use a randomly generated visitor identifier and, as a fallback, a one-way hash of IP address and device/browser characteristics. We do not store raw IP addresses for this purpose.

Device & technical data

Like most apps and websites, we automatically receive basic technical information (such as device type, operating system, and app version) that is necessary to operate and secure the Service.

How we use your information

• To provide, maintain and improve the Service;
• To process your scans (including converting them into web- and AR-ready 3D formats) and host your catalogs;
• To brand your public pages with your business profile;
• To give you analytics about how visitors engage with your models;
• To communicate with you about your account, support requests, and plan changes;
• To detect, prevent and address fraud, abuse, or security issues;
• To comply with legal obligations.

How your content is shared

Scans and catalogs you choose to share are publicly accessible to anyone who has the link or scans the QR code — no login is required to view them. Please do not include confidential information in content you publish. You control what you publish and can unpublish or delete content at any time.

Service providers

We share information with vendors who process it on our behalf, under agreements that require them to protect it and use it only to provide services to us:

• Amazon Web Services (S3 & CloudFront) — hosting and content delivery for your 3D models and images.
• Supabase — account authentication.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can delete your account directly in the app (Account → Danger zone → Delete account); doing so deletes your account and signs you out, and your shared catalogs will no longer be visible. You may also request deletion by contacting us at support@lensart.app. Some information may be retained where required for legal, security, or backup purposes.

Security

We use industry-standard measures — including encryption in transit — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s privacy

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

International users

LensArt is operated from Pakistan, and your information may be processed and stored in Pakistan and in other countries where our service providers operate. By using the Service, you consent to this processing.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email.
